Here you can discover the history of ancient tribes, who inhabited Podillia, learn about their life, military affairs, and plunge into the atmosphere of the Middle Dniester inhabitants’ beliefs from the most ancient times to the baptism of the Slavs.
The exhibition recreates ancient human habitation, reconstructs tools and household items. In the courtyard of the museum visitors will be exposed to unique stone idols, which were used in pagan rituals before adoption of Christianity in Kievan Rus.
It also highlights the question of Kamianets-Podilskyi’s ancient Rus origin and the history of archaeological research on the territory of Podillia.
